Welcome to the Northants’ BSAC 0955 website. My name is Harvey and I’m the club chairman.
The club itself has been running for almost 30years. In that time we have dived at many different sites around the coast of Britain and the world. The club meets at Cripps Recreation centre in the grounds of Northampton General Hospital on a Sunday night and its here we complete our pool training and lectures. The Open water training is completed at Stoney Cove in Leicestershire or Gildenburg near Peterborough.
Our favourite sites for diving being Plymouth, Lyme Regis or Dale, South Wales. Club members have dived in Malta, America, The Red Sea, Spain, Greece and many other places.
The aims of the club are to promote scuba diving and to train divers in safe diving techniques within BSAC. We also provide a social meeting environment for like minded divers to exchange views, organise trips and basically enjoy our diving!
There is not a lot more I can say about our club but I would like to invite you to come down, try the sport of diving and join us for a social evening sometime soon.
